Vintage Textiles & Botanical Block Printing

In this class you will learn the steps to carving a beautiful botanical-inspired easy-cut linoleum block. Don’t feel like carving? Borrow a pre-carved block to use during class! then you will be guided through the printing process to breathe new life into reclaimed vintage linens. This class is taught by Beka Addison, a regional artist whose creative focus is printmaking and fiber arts. Learn about Beka’s process, explore your own creative style, and enjoy a little treat to eat or drink while you work. Supplies provided.



Art Nouveau Inspired!

Tuesdays 4/16-5/28 (6 weeks – no class 5/7) from 6:00PM-8:00PM


Minimum 4 students; Maximum 10 students

Ages 16-Adult

This class pulls inspiration from both the Wardrobe: Historical Fashions exhibition and the Art Nouveau exhibition at WKMA. Participants will tour both exhibitions for inspiration, as well as receive an informal lecture on patterns, colors, and motifs of art nouveau. They will be guided through the creation process of designing their own textile, which we will send out to have printed through Spoonflower.com. Once the textiles are received, participants will learn how to make an Art Nouveau-inspired clutch purse using the fabrics they created. Participants will also have the opportunity to finish Art Nouveau pendants to complement their clutch bags. Most supplies included.



Fundamentals of Needle Felting with Lindy Bruns

If you are interested in needle felting but don’t know where to start this is the class for you! In this class students will learn the basics of how to create sculptures with wool. Students will learn how to make basic 2D and 3D shapes as well as how to use different needles and wool to achieve various fun to put together their own needle felted creations.
