Resident artist Suzanne Stryk will host an open studio on Saturday, July 29, from 2:00-5:00 PM at William King Museum’s main building.
Suzanne will share her process of creating place-based assemblages with maps, artwork, and bits of found objects. Her studio includes a cabinet-of-curiosities installation of naturalistic specimens and art.
She is the author of The Middle of Somewhere: An Artist Explores the Nature of Virginia and the recipient of a Virginia Commission of the Arts Fellowship.
