In this Zoom lecture, Dir. of Higher Education, Laken Bridges, will discuss her own work in visual arts. Bridges’ studio practice includes drawing, printmaking, and installation, with works ranging from 12 inches to 12 feet. Her research examines labor and social class with an emphasis on domestic and manual work. In 2018, Michelle Gagliano cast aside all toxic materials from her artistic practice. Gagliano’s works in the  palette of Italian artist Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino, globally known as Raphael. Through extensive research, Gagliano has identified ten basic pigments that Raffaello would have used.
