Community Celebration of The Arts

POSTPONED – On Saturday, May 16, join us for a day of food, music, activities, and art as WKMA celebrates the opening of its new Art Lab with a day of free family fun for the community!

• Be among the first to walk through the Art Lab to see the spaces available and ready to foster the creativity of our region’s makers. 
• Try your hand and create a masterpiece of your own. 
• Talk to representatives from other arts organizations in the region to learn about the many opportunities for artistic expression that are available to you and your family. 
• Visit the Artmobile and walk through a moving gallery showcasing work from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts’ impressive collection. 
• Grab some delicious eats from one of our food trucks for a picnic lunch out on the grounds. 
• Enjoy the sunset from WKMA’s hill with an evening concert in our sculpture garden.
