About: Lovingly called the “Mother of Burlesque” to the Tri-Cities, Gem Brûlée has been enticing audiences for the past seven years. Combining her 20+ years of dance training, theatre experience, and sideshow acts this fire breathing diva will set your heart aflame and sing you to a sultry stupor. She is excited to continue traveling the country and being involved in this dazzling art form.
Tulle Boas
Saturday, 8/12 from 6pm-9pm
$45 non-members, $40 members + $50 supply fee (optional – see supply list below to buy your own boa supplies)
Minimum 8 / maximum 15 students
Embrace your inner showstopper in this hands-on boa making workshop, complete with music, mocktails, and merriment. Attendees will enjoy a construction demonstration, then have time to work on their individual boas. Curious how you can take your boa for a spin? Stay to the end of class to learn a few boa performer moves. At registration, choose the supply fee option to have boa materials provided for you (must register one week in advance for this option).
