This class introduces students to basic terms and concepts in 2D and 3D art. It will introduce students to basic concepts in abstraction through the creation of forms using clay and drawing. Students will take inspiration from natural forms to create unique abstract forms in modelling clay. Then, students will learn different drawing techniques to replicate their unique forms on paper. This class will focus on experimentation, development of hand-eye coordination, dexterity with materials, and personal expression. No experience necessary. Supplies included.

Mondays, September 14, 21, & 28, October 5 & 12 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
$100 non-members, $90 members

Students and instructors are required to wear a mask and maintain physical distance. Class seating will be limited to 8 students or less. Minimum enrollment of 4 students. Students must register a minimum of one week in advance of any class. Masks are required for students and instructors.
