Spring 2022 Little Lambs Fiber Arts

Little Lambs Fiber Arts is a new sheep-to-shawl youth fiber arts program generously funded by the Frances R. Dewing Foundation. Little Lambs provides free classes to children from 6 months to 14 years of age exploring fiber art methods as sensory, therapeutic, and creative experiences.

These are family classes designed for caregivers and children to take together. The first edition of classes will run from April until early June. After that, many more classes will become available from August until December!

Every Friday from 3 to 5 PM

No registration required, drop in!

(Fleece-y Fridays will not take place between June 10th and July 29th because of Art Camp.)

Fleece-y Fridays are the open studio hours for the Little Lambs Fiber Arts Studio. Emerging fiber artists of all ages are welcome to drop in to use and explore equipment and meet artists and instructors. Students must be pre-approved to use spinning wheels. Fleece-y Fridays allow Little Lambs students to make their own art without having to purchase expensive equipment. Fleece-y Fridays are also an opportunity for live artist demonstrations, collaborative group projects, and special events–such as meeting a live sheep! Check our social media to keep up with these special events!
