• Pop-Up Workshop: Laser Cut Ornaments
Make your own laser-cut wooden snowflake ornament! Students will be guided through simple Adobe Illustrator techniques to design a snowflake shape and then we’ll laser cut the ornaments. Students may make more than one if time allows. Workshop is suitable for ages Middle School through adult.
• Pop-Up Workshop: Mini Color Organ
Friday, December 3, 6-8 p.m.
Make your own mini analog electronic color organ in an Altoids tin! A Color Organ is a device that interprets sound with light- plug in your music player and it’s your own personal light show. A perfect introductory project for budding circuitry enthusiasts, ages Middle School through adult.
• Rustic Cork Gnome Ornaments
Make a unique cork gnome ornament or two. Supplies provided.
• Paste Paper Cards
Create colorful patterned paper to turn into holiday cards. Supplies provided.
• Orange Pomander Balls
Use natural materials to create fragrant and festive pomander balls. Supplies provided.
• Winter Night Monotype Prints
Learn stencil and reductive printmaking techniques to create an original wintery nature or night sky scene. Supplies provided.
• Gingerbread House Painting
Be guided through the steps to paint a playful gingerbread house or paint your own holiday version. Supplies provided.
