Film Noir Portraits – Reductive Drawing

In this 2-evening class, students will learn reductive drawing techniques using charcoal and erasers to create unique portraits in the moody, high contrast Film Noir style. Bring a prop or two to add mystery and drama to your reference photo session at the start of class. Supplies: soft/medium vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, and assorted erasers. Paper and spray fixative provided.
