Date & Time: Thursday’s, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24  from 6pm – 8pm (Please register 1 week prior)

Cost: $240 non-member, $215 member

Location: Art Lab (multiple studios used)

Supplies: The first half of this class will guide students through beginner color theory concepts such as color mixing, color schemes, color wheels, discordant color, and optical effects based on research by theorist Josef Albers. The second half of this class will explore color through challenge prompts in small projects using printmaking, painting, and mixed media. Students will complete the course with the start to color studies portfolio to guide their future studio practice.
