Be Bold: Women’s Workshop

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

This workshop invites women to use their voices in creative ways to empower and celebrate each other. Friday evening, participants will take a gallery tour followed by a discussion about the art. Saturday morning will be dedicated to a creative writing session to explore the participants’ talents, skills, struggles, successes, and hopes for the future. Following lunch, participants will be led through creative mixed media techniques to put their art and writings on banners. These completed works will be displayed in the Art Lab gallery through the end of the year for all to enjoy before being returned to participants. This event compliments William King Museum of Art’s exhibition, Transforming Politics: Art Made by Women, featuring large scale artwork by artists Margaret Gregg, Kathleen Thum, Alex Younger, and Laken Bridges.
