This Wreck art class focuses on creation through destruction and alteration. Students will receive a finished artwork sourced from thrift stores, attics, waste bin, etc. Students will be guided through questions to consider about the artwork and how new life can be breathed into the piece. Then students will cut, shred, sand, re-stitch, paint splatter, collage, and perform any number of techniques to wreck their art into something new. Be prepared to get loud and get messy. All supplies are included. You may bring your own thrift store art find to wreck. Class size will be 4 to 6 students.
