- Open during normal museum hours (Mon – Wed, Fri & Sat 10am – 5pm, Thurs 10am – 8pm, Sun 1pm – 5pm)

The Learning Families Imagination Studio is a new space opening in the WKMA dedicated to free, interactive learning for children and families
The Imagination Studio offers a participatory creative space for children and families to explore concepts relating to a current exhibition at the WKMA. This space will change with our exhibitions, so it always offers something new to do! The Imagination Studio offers multiple artistic activities which will always include something to take home and something to leave on display in the Imagination Studio.
We also offer a reading corner for kids who need a quiet space within the museum.
Theme for November:
Inside the Circle explores concepts from Will the Circle be Unbroken? including Appalachian birth and burial traditions, memories, family, and local culture.
