Volunteer at the William King Museum!
Are you a history buff, fan of the arts, architecture lover, have a knack for teaching, or just enjoy volunteering? If you said yes to any of the above, come volunteer at the William King Museum!
Volunteers are the heartbeat of the Museum – they establish relationships with the community through outreach, promote learning and communication with members and visitors, and bring fresh ideas to each department.
Why volunteer at William King? WKM is a unique, non-profit regional museum located in the heart of Abingdon. The facility is Virginia’s only nationally accredited museum west of Roanoke and caters to Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, Southeastern Kentucky, and Western North Carolina.
