Art for the Garden
Tuesdays, April 20-May 25, 6-8:30 pm

Beginning Oil Painting
Tuesdays, April 6-27, 6-8:30 pm
Each class will include some demonstration and a good deal of individual instruction. Students will paint primarily from life; however, some photographs can be used to help simplify compositions. Silver Wire Jewelry: The Art of the Line
Tuesdays, April 6-27, 6-8 pm beginner - intermediate levels
Silver wire: round or square, braided, curled or woven, transformed into creative chains, links, pins, earrings and more! Open to anyone who has ever had an interest in making jewelry or those who have beading experience and would like to learn how to make their own simple catches, ear wires or components, this class will explore making jewelry using the simplest of tools: pliers, a hammer and a pair of wire cutters. Basic soldering skills along with shaping, filing, polishing techniques will be covered. Students will complete a project of their own design. Cost is $85 plus a $15 material feel. Working With Silver & Stones
Tuesdays, May 4-25, 6-8 pm
Make a piece of jewelry that includes a bezel set stone or other suitable items such as a shell, pottery shard, decorative or dichroic glass, and become acquainted with the basic tools and techniques of metalwork and jewelry making. Experiences in Pastel Painting
Saturdays, May 8-29, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
High school to adults: some basic drawing skills a plus
Learn even more about colors: experiment with various techniques used in pastel painting – ways to layer and blend colors and do it all “En Plein Air”. This medium will strengthen students understanding of color and is very versatile and forgiving. Supply list available upon registration. Cost is $50.
