Abingdon’s arts organizations bring gallery-goers together one night a month for art, food, music, and more! Travel around to each of these venues for our twenty-third town-wide event

5-8 p.m. – Mallory Fine Art at 112 East Main Street
ONGOING EXHIBITION – Join us for the ongoing exhibit Over the Rainbow featuring new works by Mallory Fine Artists. Refreshments!

5-11 p.m. – D.aR.t House Gallery at 313 Tanner Street
OPENING RECEPTION– The Shawn Crookshank Official Retrospective will open with many works on view and for sale for the first and only time! Live music, food, drink, and merriment will ensue. Join the artist for the Live Crookshank-Cartier Collaborative in Paint alongside other blank canvases available for onsite art-making

5-8 p.m. – Wolf Hills Brewing Co. at 350 Park Street
OPENING RECEPTION – New Works by Cathy Keen

5-8 p.m. – Zazzy’z Coffee Roasters at 380 East Main Street
ONGOING EXHIBITION – New Work by Adelaide Moss and Pat McCarthy

6-8 p.m. – William King Museum of Art at 415 Academy Drive
OPEN HOUSE – Browse our cool and contemporary galleries on the third floor to see Artist by Trade: Independent Projects by Barter Theatre Creatives and The Constant Artist, Connie Bundy. Bring a picnic to enjoy in our Sculpture Garden and take-in our hilltop view of Abingdon

5-8 p.m. – Arts Depot at 314 Depot Square
TWO EXHIBITIONS  –  On view in the Spotlight Gallery – David Alexander exhibits new oil paintings in his show, Alleyways of Abingdon and in the Members Gallery – 9th Annual Highlands Camera Club exhibit entitled Surrounded by Architecture. Meet the artists while enjoying complimentary refreshments and live music by the Abingdon Thumb Strummers

6-9 p.m. – Creeper Vapor Lounge and Art Gallery at 301 West Main Street
OPENING RECEPTION – Doctor Sid presents his “artography,” a mix of photography and controlled artistry. Through various methods of processing, he repaints secondary areas which draw the subject to the foreground and create a three-dimensional effect. Enjoy healthy vegan treats supplied by The Hipstachick.

5-9 p.m. – Heartwood at 1 Heartwood Circle
NEW ART AND JAM SESSION – Enjoy Paula Melton’s Southwest Virginia-themed watercolors, which will be on display and for sale in Heartwood’s dining room gallery. There will be a Crooked Road Music Jam Session and it is BBQ Night at Heartwood’s restaurant!
