Portfolio Submissions

Panoramic Gallery

Part of the William King Museum’s mission is to exhibit work by local and regional artists. We invite all artists to submit a portfolio of recent work for solo and group exhibitions to be held monthly. Also encouraged are self-curated group exhibitions based on a theme or concept. We are considering projects in all media. Opening receptions will be every first Thursday each month, with some exceptions. The first Monday of the month will be reserved for installation and de-installation while the museum is closed. Please take this into consideration when submitting your portfolio.

All submissions should include:

• cover letter
• brief artist bio and statement
• up to twenty digital slides on a CD at 300dpi and suitable for printing
• slide identification sheet with title, year, medium and dimension for each work
• a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your materials returned.

Do not send original artwork. We cannot take responsibility for these materials and will not review them if received.

The Panoramic Gallery has a rolling admission process where applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed once annually. When a date for the jury to meet has been set, William King Museum will announce a cutoff deadline for submissions to be considered during the approaching jury session.
